Plan around a brand and a destination
Start with the brand, campaign and audience. Prepare the caption and media for the selected destination, then choose the posting time and check the workspace timezone. A restaurant software announcement and an event reminder may need different wording even when they share a calendar.
Approve the version you intend to publish
Review names, prices, dates, links and artwork before approval. If an approved post changes, treat the change as a new review decision. SpreadPosts keeps drafts, revisions and approvals connected to the scheduling workflow; it is still the team’s responsibility to check that the content is correct.
Read the outcome after the scheduled time
A scheduled item is a plan, not proof that a network accepted the post. Check its recorded outcome and destination receipt. If the outcome is uncertain, investigate before trying another send. Pauses, expired connections and provider restrictions can affect delivery.
Before you proceed
- Confirm the caption and attached media.
- Check the destination, date and timezone.
- Obtain approval for the current version.
- Check the recorded outcome after publishing.
Does scheduling guarantee an exact publication time?
No. Queues, connection health, media processing and provider responses can affect delivery. Plan time-sensitive announcements with those dependencies in mind and inspect the final outcome.
